general conference was really awesome!! really liked a lot of the talks, especially the priesthood session.

1- Best moment was probably teaching Fabio and his family. They area a really promising family and im really pumped to be able to teach them!!

2- Hasnt really been a difficult or freaky moment, things are pretty much back to normal again and the water in the city has returned so all is well.

3- And nah havent really done anything like over the top fun, but we are planning for some upcoming activities which should be good!!

4- and nah havent eaten anything weird this week, just the normal feijão and fruit and stuff haha.

5- and yeah ive learnt a flippen heap of portuguese this week thats what ive learned, having a brazilian companion is good because i have to think in portuguese too.

but yeah over all not that much has happened this week so sorry if this week is a little short!!

and i cant beleive wazza is already leaving in two weeks!!!! im so happy for him hes gonna have  the best time hahaa

and trasnsfers is next week!! so ill find out if ive got any mail or not.

Hey!!

so uhmm this week has been pretty crazy hahaha. like seriously crazy. but ok i wanna say first that no i do not have my camera with me, but i didnt bring it for  reason so please dont get upset. ill expliain in a bit.

so questions.

1 - The best moment this week was probably lunch this thursday, they have this tradition here that everyone eats fish on a specific day of the year and only fish. so i had a load of fish, stingray, shark and other stuff that i dont know the name of. after i shared a message about faith in alma 32 and im pretty sure everyone understood most of it so that means my portuguese is getting better i hope hahaha.

2- hmm this whole week has been a little challenging. our whole area and a lot more doesnt have water at the moment. one of the main water pipes somewhere exploded and now everyone is without water, i think since teusday or wednesday cant remember exactly. but yeah everyone is freaking out.  so weve had to make many trips with buckets and water bottles and then walk back to the house with all the water. weve been doing trips for the members too because a lot of them are old people, so weve been helping out a lot. it doenst help that it is easter at the moment, and all people do here for easter is blast music in the street and get drunk and its been going on since like thursday. so put that together with all the angry people without water and yeah i think you could imagine. someone got stabbed to death in our area during midday, another person threw a bomb through a moving bus and it exploded on an old man, burnt 80% or his body with 3rd degree burns but he still alive,  and people have been rioting in the streets too and setting other buses on fire, so yeah pretty cray.  and thats baisically why i didnt bring my camera, people have started robbing people too especially if they have water so yeah ill wait for things to calm down before i bring my camera anywhere for a while. but dont frek out im all good!! i know as long as im doing the right thing as a missionary ill be all good so yeah dont freak out haha.

3- hmmm well it was conference this week which was awesome, one thing that dallin h oaks said was really awesome, he said that addictions impair the gift of agency, so becarefull what you give your time and money too!

4- hmmm nothing really stood out to me this week, just keep prayin and keep prayin.

5 - and nah havent really done anything different this week, just a load of renegade missions to get water for us and the members so yeah thats been greathahaha 

but yeah i love you guys and hope everything is good.

Hey yeah this week sbeen pretty good, we've been doing a lot of work but not having that many results which kinda sucks.´

hey im sorry i have my cameraa with me today but i forgot to bring my sd card with me!!! so i cant send anything this week!!! really sorry!!

well this week i was hugged and kissed by a homeless lady, that experience was pretty... uhmm... memorable. i cant remember her name but i first met her a couple of weeks ago she wanted but book of mormon and i sad nah because it was my one so she said next time i see you your gonna have one for me, so i said yeah ok then she taught me some portugese and taught me some gangster handshakes hahaha then we left not really expecting to see her again. well this week i saw her again and by coincidence i was carrying a brand new book of mormon with me, she was sooo stoked even though she can barely read haha but i marked one of my fav chapters and gave it to her, then she hugged me and kissed my chest leaving like this dirty slobber mark ahahaa it was dirty. 

but yeah so that happened haha

anyways hope work is going awesome and all the kids are being good

 loo with my gameboy when i was like 5??

 oh and how is elis room doing?? all done yet? hahaha and yes i

 remember that apple tree cant beleive Sam ate the damn thing haha ...nah didnt get any mail at transfers! maybe tomorrow because its

 zone conference so ill see tomorrow. but yeah leg is ways better now

 im pretty sure its fully healed. havent had any problems with it this

 week so thats been good.

 but yeah questions

 1- Uhm best moment was probably District meeting. elder shaffer gave

 a really good training session and we got to discus all of our

 investigators,

 2- Oh wow what a question favourite foods. thats a hard one because i

 just love eating everything here but the fruit is probably what i

like most. oh and coxinhas, im pretty sure wou should be able to get a

 recipe from google or something.

 3- Hmm something that i learnt this week was to lean unto the lord

 even when you think things are going really well, because sometimes

 things arent going as well as you think they are.

 but hey love yous all and hope the kids are being good

TRANSFER WEEK...

still in the same place. and elder fender is home now and i have a new brazilian companion elder honório, he has 13 months in the mission

i really mis the 7D dried mango and raspberry bullets!! but what i really miss is hair wax!!! they dont have it here like at all!!

im doing really good!!! leg is pretty much all better now so im not really having dramas with it, probably will start running again this week, me and fender made a goal to run to the chapel and back in 15 mins, but our best is 15:21 so i need to beat it.

ok questions:

1- Best moment this week was probably transfers. President and sister lisonbee gave some really awesome talks about how if you are doing the right thing, the lord will put the right people in your way that YOU need to teach, and actually everything they said which was a miracle in itself haha. my portuguese is slowly getting better

2- worst moment? dunno havent really had a bad momnt, this week has been a little hard because we had a few investigators bail on us and almost noone has been home to teach, but this week will be better

3- well this morning we went to go have a look at one of the beaches, there is like a huge church on one of the coasts so we went there and had a look which was cool, nothing crazy exciting but haha

4- We are teaching quite a few people, one of my favourites is geraldo, 50 year old dude. he says that weve really helped him in a lot of ways and he feels more ready to be baptised now which is great, still need to set a date for him but.

5- hmmm this week i learnt the importance or studying the book of mormon every single day. since transfers things have been a little crazy and me and my new companion, elder honório, have been trying to set up a new system of how we are going to do things and i havent reall had time to study much, and its been making such a huge difference in my day! its been way harder to understand people and to teach aswell. so always study and read!!!

but yea so transfers was last week and i got a new companion, brazilian this time! were getting along really well and working together great too. this week is going to be a lot better cos last week was mainly showing him around the area and stuff like that.

Hey yeah im feeling all better now!! hahahahaha yeah i got a call from sister lisonbee the next day, she is so so so nice!! but yes i do understand thank you for being aware!! my leg is still playing up but the fever is all gone now.

but yeah im super stoked about warren, like super super happy,  i really hope Sams doing well he's a really awesome guy, tell him i said hi!!!

Letter to Mum... (more personal things have been edited out but you get the idea - I still refrain from correcting his grammar  and spelling as I know he is in a hurry, I won't hold it against him - PS it is REALLY hard not to correct it!)

OK so hey im on!! but i have so much to flippin do this week!!!!!oh well and hey im suuuuper sorry but i cant send any photos this week!! the computers that we are using today are soooooo slow and whenever i try to send photos the computer freezes so i really dont have time to muck around with it.

so how is sams ear doing now?? did the doctors clean it out properly?? awesome to see that everyone is coming home now and im so stoked for wazza!!! flippen finally im so happy for him.

but uhm ok questions from last week.

1. best part of the week was probably on thursday when we were having lunch with a young member couple. we had lunch and after that she was talking about how they just moved into the new area and really didnt want to. she started crying a bit because things werent really going right for them, but me and elder fender shared a short but powerful message about prayer. after i bore testimony about the importance of prayer she seemed really relieved and happy. she thanked us heaps and gave us this awesome passionfruit milkshake!! this sunday she also thanked us again so it was awesome to see how much we've helped someone.

2. hmm well havent really had a bad moment but my leg is playing up real bad. in the  mtc my left hip joint started to ache. we've been running everyday and its been bearable but today it is just absolutely smashed. so i rang sister lisonbee for some advice so i wont be runnin for a few days and im on ibuprofen for 2 days, 800mg every 6 hours haha.

3. and nah i didnt get sick from his spaghetti!! but i have a fever at the moment wich kinda sucks!!

4.best spiritual experience was probably the same as first answer. i feel the spirit strongest when i know ive really actually helped someone.

5.nah havent got any mail yet!! they keep it all for us at the mission home and we get it during transfers, which is next tuesday!!

6.and nah not yet i havent emailed anyone but i will when i have more time! i will see elder chastain and keller at the transfer next week but.

ok so yeah again im so sorry that i cant send photos this week!!! i dont have very many but ill take more to send to you next week!!

i love you so so so much and i hope the family is doing great!! the food here is sooo good but i reeeeally miss your cooking!! and dad said jo is over for a few weeks so im really jelous of that!!! tell her i said hi!!

Hey Day,

yeah everything is going great! its all good i didnt have time to write last week either so sorry about that.

im glad to see that youse are all doing really well, ive been praying for yous everynight and fasting everyweek so hopefully something good pops up soon.

i bet the missionaries think your the coolest guy. ever since coming  here ive come to really appreciate the members help, so you may not think it but you are a maaaasive help to the elders and sisters. we have this one member dude that always helps us teach. his name is carlos. hes like 40 but has the energy of a 12 year old on easter day, he just doesnt stop haha. he says hello to absolutely everyone he sees even if he doent know them. he goes ´´HELLO MY YOUTH´´ it doesnt make sense but hes really funny haha.

im super jelous about jo coming over, the food here is good but i really miss the food back home, especially fish and chips!!!!!

lots has been happening here, we have heaps of investigators almost ready for baptism so we are really busy and transfers is next week.i hope i stay here a transfer longer cos the people here are awesome.

anyways, hope the family is doing aweome
