Hey yeah things are going really great over here!!!!

so dads all better then yeah?? hah ai think im gettin a needle this week to combat the cold of whatever it is here haha but hey its free!!

but yeah q+a

1- yeah im in a new area now!!! im so stoked to be here. im in Jardin Cruzeiro now and loving it.

2- New companions name is Elder Felipe, hes from Curitiba Brazil and were gatting along great, hes the only brazillian that i know that knows american basketball!!

3- hmm havent really had anything new happen this week. just getting to know everyone.

4- But yeah ive been prayin heaps ans heaps to be able to see the people here how heavenly father sees and loves his children. in my last area i found it easy to like the people but i didnt feel like i really truly loved them there. when i got to my new area here it was like all my prayers were answered instanly. i dont know how to explain it but i have such a greater love for the poeple here now. i just want to share and teach and help everyone here. all the members are awesome here and have welcomed me warmly.

5- weve been teaching this lady Maria. shes pretty old and shes been hooked on smoking for yeeeeeears. weve been hepling her so much and she commitied to going to church on sunday. well when we went past her place on sunday morning to pick her up for church she said that she had like a million things to do and couldnt make it. pretty much the oonly downer of this week.

but i hope everything is going awesome back home!!!

Hey dad yeah the new area is going great. im like an hour and a half from my last area and its a looooot more chill here. really loving the area and the people here.

haha i remember seminary runs, ive kinda started to miss getting up at 4:30 to get ready for work and turning into an icypole when i walk out the door haha. hope the kids are liking seminary but, actually speaking of seminary we are teaching it at the moment haha were teaching DC.

and so yeah its sharnis birthday now hey!!! thats crazy haha hope you guys have a blast, make sure you eat a load of food for me too!!

hmm something cool that heppened this week? we found a reeeally awesome investigator. shes a younger lady, her names Grezeila and shes doing well. she has a LOAD os questions hahaha but its really good  because it helps me learn, as a matter of fact sometimes i think i learn more than she does dudring our lessons haha. but i really reken that if we help her understand all the things she needs shell wanna get baptised!

hmm well something not so cool is that im getting transfered tomorrow!!!  i wanted and didnt want to get transfered, i really love all the people in our ward here but yesterday i had to go around and say goodbye to everyone. but im so greatfull for the opportunity that i have to be able to serve here in bonfim!!!!

Haha i met this funny dude in church yesterday, he walked in to the chapel wanting a book of mormon and i was like heck yes i can help you with that hahaha he speaks a little english too so he was like practicing his englesh with me. we got him to sit through sacrament and manages to get a return visit with him too which was awesome!!

hmmm this week, i have really learnt of having the constant companionship of the holy ghost. you never know when you will come across someone and not know what to say, so its vitally important that your always doing all that you can to be worthy of that companionship. and also the importance of always carrying your oil on you!! gave my first blessing in portuguese the other day!! which was a miracle because i litterally didnt know all thewords to give a blessing of health but i was able to give a blessing to someone that really needed it and it was a great humbling experience.

but yeah ill let you know more about where im getting sent next week cos i dont know yet!!! but hope yous have a blast in the hotel and have a great  week!!!

Hey!!

So how longs dad going up to gero for? is he just going up by himself or is he taking some of the kids?? and what happened to the porch??

And yeah i always tried to teach Sam that trick too!! haha i remember how difficult it was because he just wants to eat absolutely everything!!! but hopefully by the time i get home hell have the trick down perfect!! that would be awesome

and yeah its been raining like craaaazy here too, loads of the streets are getting flooded and yeah its bad, i cant remember the last time i had dry shoes hahaha.

and questions.

1- Best moment this week was went we went to Santo Amaro. my companion baptised a lady while he was there and we were able to go to her wedding!! was real nice, Santo Amaro is super nice to, the people there are sooo chilled out and there are a load of awesome members therethat i was able to meet!!! so that was awesome;

2- Hmm worst moment was probs when we were moving, i was wallking down some stone steps that were all wet, i slipped and tried to grab on to the wall or something bt just ended up punching the wall bu accident hahaha. felt real dumb and now i have but chuncks out of my knucked from where they scraped against the wall. so there was that and also we had to let a couple of investigators go. that was real sad for me because i really liked them but yeah.

3- and teh new flat is soooooooo much better!! its actually dry too and doesnt have mold!!! :D so im really stoked to be in the new house. haha, its on the fourth story too so we get a cool view of all the rooftops.

4- And yea i got to catch up with chastain too!!  we stayed the night there in santo amaro so we got to hang out a fair bit, hes doin real good and his portugese is getting way good too!!

5- and transfers is next teusday!!! this transfer was only 5 weeks and it went so freakin quik!!

but yeah thats about it for this week!!

WE GOT OUR SKYPE CALL FOR MOTHERS DAY!!!
This was the email the day after.....

yeah i know i was fully expecting you to cry like crazy but you didnt!!

and woah thats freakn aaages hahaha so how did she go then??

and theres really nothing new to say haha!! we are moving house tomorrow so im really stoked about that!!! and we went to the beach today to play american football so that was interesting hahaha nothing too special but the other american missionary that lives with us got roasted by the sun hahaha hes so red.

and hey cant send photos today. everytime i put my memorycard into a computer something crazy happens and now all my photos are gone so yeah. reeeally ticked about this not joking.

but i donno i really got noting to write about so ill have to whore a longer email next week.

ey yeah this weeks been really good!! 

haha and yeah eli is always hanging out to go to shool, how he doing at school anyways?? haha i had i dream that i was in bali too thats so wierd!!!! haha ever since ive been here ive been having the most strangest dreams hahaha but maybe its a sign that you need to go to bali again?!!?!?!

and talking about food ive been craving food from back home haha mainly sushi hahai dont thing it really exists here haha its sad but they still hever aaaaaaawesome food here.

and yeah i remember here!! and that really sucks about the package, i think it would be better if you send it sooner cos it takes like 3 months to get here.... but yeah i think i have a photo of the postal address so ill send it to ya.

hahaha and so sam is finally learning about balloons hahaha thats great. i miss that boof head, actually yesterday i was offered a puppy!!! haha we were in a ladys house lastnight and her puppy was going crazy and i picked her up and she fell asleep in my arms hahaha so then she was like aww she likes you you can take her!!! but obviously i cant haha so that was a bit of a bummer hahah.

and hey do you reken you guys could get together and take some ohtos?? i wanna have more photos in my photo album of you guys cos i dont really have muito at the moment.

but really not much has happened this week. weve been looking for a new house because our house at the moment is pretty crazy haha, but hopefully we find one. we actually found one that this lady had but because of the rain last week there was like a land slide and quite a few people died and lost their homes and her family was one of those people so now they are in the house.

but yeah this week weve decided to have like a weekly scripture that we will memorize and try to use during the day so that should be good. tomorrow we have interviews with president so that should be good to be able to speak to him again, hes a real cool dude!! and today we are going to be going to a place called Pelourinho, so i should have a bunch of photos for ya next week.

but yeah thats pretty much all for this week!!

sometimes we get referals bit sometimes its impossible to track them down, everything is super confusing here, thousands of little back alleys and walk ways. but its a good way to make contacts haha because you ask people what your looking for then ask them about the church haha it works well.

really missing you guys heps too and yeah ill probably be calling about saturday night my time, so liike sunday morning your time. have youse got morning or arvo church at the moment??

New district, Jefferson and Leilani are awesome members and here is some of our house this morning haha

YEah things are going really good here!! hey but first of all happy 21st birthday!!!! again!!!!!! hahaha so what did you end up doing, just chilling out?? hope you had an awesome day you deffs deserve it cos your the best mum in the world.

but awesome so nana was down for a bit?? hows she going?? and tell jo i say hello if shes still there!!

hahaha i think thats one of the very very important parts of work, to have fun while you work and to have little jokes like that. they seriouly make work so much better.

ok sweet so it should be the right address then but dunno why it hasnt gotten here yet. ill have to send his mum a big thanks for helping out with the packages. and oh yeah me and chastain caught up last tuesday!!! hahha it was great we got to catch up and talk about our areas and stuff, he says his mum gets a little ticked if he doesnt send photos too haha so it must just be a mum thing hahaaa.

but yeah this week has been pretty normal. your whole house flooded today hahaha it rained so hard last night that when we woke up there wasnt a dry spot on the floor, the kitchen and bathroom were flooded way up past my ankles hahaha. pretty great start to a pday haha. water came up through the drain and everything it was crazy, and then when i was chuckin a wee this huge centipede thing swam to my foot and climbed up my leg and yeah ill just say its very difficult to pee and try kick of a huge angry centipede off your leg at the same time hahaha.

Woah i cant believe its all going so quick, time really does fly. seems like yesterday i was home messing around with all the guys and stuff. 

 im starting to to remember all those sleepovers too hahaha i miss them.

        rained so much the other week that there was like a waterfal on the stairs on our street

with Irmã Vera!! she always gives us geladinho when we visit its so good!

and hey yeah i dont know when im gonna be able to call yet but there is a member that lives right next door so we will be able to use his computer which will be awesome, ill have to keep you updated as i find out whats goin on cos im not sure yet.

1- hmm best moment of this week

2- yesterday was pretty tough. We visited a whole heap of inactives and we had a bunch of investigators that were supposed to come to church with us. before church we went around and poped by all their houses to see if they were ready and literely everyone bailed. oh except one youth that showed up after we visited her so its good that shes back at church now.

3- and nah havent really done anything unusual hahah i dont even know what unusual is anymore after being here for almost 5 months hahaha

4- We are teaching a dude called fabio and his family, a young lad called Raphael and said he doent believe in god but after us teaching him he believes now, A young couple and a few others, slow progress but better than no progress. 

5- ive learnt the importance of the basic doctrines. we visited some members randomly cos i wanted to see how they were going so we poped by and were greeted warmly like usual. we talked abit and i was asked to share a message and i felt impressed to talk about the power of prayer. i just said what i honestly know about prayer and that our heavenly father is there always for us but for this particulay member i thinkit was exactly what she needed. we then gave her mum a blessing because she wasnt well and they were in credibly greatful. so yeah just sharing what you know and really meaning it with the intent to help someone is powerful.

but yeah ive got a couple of piccies for ya today! not many but yeah ive got a few!!

cant really take any touristy pics because were not really alowed to look like tourists hahaha so yeah.

anyways ill send some pics, love yous so much!!!
